James Ireland

Born 1977, lives and works in Bristol.
James graduated from the Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art, University of Oxford in 1999 and has exhibited nationally and internationally since then.
Solo exhibitions include Angel Row Gallery, Nottingham (forthcoming), Spike Island, Bristol and FA Projects, London.
Selected group exhibitions include 'Scape', CAC, Vilnius, 'Into My World: Recent British Sculpture', Aldrich Museum, Connecticut, 'Out Of Place', Harewood House, Leeds, 'Viewfinder', Arnolfini, Bristol, 'A Square Of Ground', Jerwood Gallery. London and 'New Contemporaries 2000'.
He teaches at University of West England and Wimbledon School of Art.
He likes swimming.
